New Victoria Cocktail Recipe

NEW VICTORIA COCKTAIL Recipe

The New Victoria Cocktail was invented in 1937 and tastes like a fruity Old Fashioned. In the 1930s, people shook it instead of stirring it, so “shake it to wake it up.”

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml/ 3 oz. Rye Whiskey
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Calvados apple brandy
  • 7,5 ml/ ¼ oz.  Passoã liqueur
  • 5 ml/ ¼ oz. Crème de banane liqueur

METHOD

  1. Pour the Whiskey, Calvados and Passoã liqueur into shaker with ice cubes
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into chilled rocks glass filled with ice.
  4. Drizzle Crème de banane liqueur on top.
  5. Garnish with a dried apple chip.
