Tokyo Iced Tea Cocktail Recipe

TOKYO ICED TEA COCKTAIL Recipe

It is unknown when, where, and who added Midori green melon liqueur to a Long Island Iced Tea to create Tokyo Iced Tea cocktail. The Tokyo Iced Tea does not appear in any of the cocktail books of the 1980s, but its first printed appearance appears in 2007.

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Midori melon liqueur
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. white Rum
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Vodka
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Gin
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Tequila silver
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Triple Sec.
  • 30 ml/ ¼ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. Sprite or 7up, to top

METHOD

  1. Shake the spirits and juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker (except for the lemonade).
  2. Strain into ice-filled glass.
  3. Top with Sprite or 7up and stir briefly.
  4. Garnisch with a lemon slice wheel.
  5. And serve with a straw.
