Reggae Rum Punch Cocktail Recipe

REGGAE RUM PUNCH COCKTAIL Recipe

The Reggae Rum Punch cocktail ist the most popular punch in Jamaica, where it is sold under different names with slightly varying ingredients. It always contains orange, pineapple and most importantly, overproof Rum. This recipe combines sweetness, potent Rum and generous fruit.

INGREDIENTS

  • 45 ml/ 1 ½ oz. Jamaican overpoof Rum
  • 45 ml/ 1 ½ oz. pineapple juice
  • 45 ml/ 1 ½ oz. orange juice
  • 12,5 ml/ 5/12  oz. strawberry syrup
  • 10 ml/ ⅓ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into ice-filled glass.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
