Be careful, the Block and Fall is a strong cocktail. The cognac-based cocktail was part of the list of cocktails officially recognized by the IBA from 1961 to 1986.
INGREDIENTS
- 30 ml/ 1 oz. Cognac (or Brandy)
- 30 ml/ 1 oz. Cointreau
- 15 ml/ ½ oz. Calvados or Applejack
- 15 ml/ ½ oz. Pernod
METHOD
- Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
- Stir well until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Use no garnish.
