Block and Fall Cocktail Recipe

Be careful, the Block and Fall is a strong cocktail. The cognac-based cocktail was part of the list of cocktails officially recognized by the IBA from 1961 to 1986.

INGREDIENTS

30 ml/ 1 oz. Cognac (or Brandy)
30 ml/ 1 oz. Cointreau
15 ml/ ½ oz. Calvados or Applejack
15 ml/ ½ oz. Pernod

METHOD

Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
Stir well until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Use no garnish.
