Block and Fall Cocktail Recipe

BLOCK AND FALL COCKTAIL Recipe

Be careful, the Block and Fall is a strong cocktail. The cognac-based cocktail was part of the list of cocktails officially recognized by the IBA from 1961 to 1986.

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. Cognac (or Brandy)
  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. Cointreau
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Calvados or Applejack
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Pernod

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Stir well until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Use no garnish.
