Poet’s Dream Cocktail Recipe

POET’S DREAM COCKTAIL Recipe

The Poet’s Dream cocktail was first mentioned in a cocktail book in 1949 and is somewhat similar to the Ford cocktail.

INGREDIENTS

  • 22,5 ml/ ¾ oz. dry Gin
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Bénédictine  
  • 22,5 ml/ ¾ oz. Vermouth dry

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Stir well until well-chilled.
  3. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Express lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
