ANAÏS NIN COCKTAIL Recipe

For the Anaïs Nin cocktail, you must shake the anise-flavored Samcuca liqueur with Creme de banana liqueur and Half and half (Cream & Milk) and top with coffee (iced or hot), a cup of whipped cream and a drizzle of the liqueur for a sweet yet intriguingly complex caffeinated treat. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. Sambuca
  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. Crème de banane liqueur
  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. Half and half (Cream & Milk)
  • 90-120 ml/ 3-4 oz. coffee (iced or hot)

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients, except the coffee, into a shaker.
  2. Add ice and shake until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a pint glass over fresh ice.
  4. Top with the coffee.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of Sambuca.

  1. For the Christmas Aperol Spritz, first fill ice cubes into a decorative glass of our choice and add Aperol and Prosecco.
  2. Now comes the twist: the cranberry syrup gives the Aperol Spritz its Christmassy, ​​sweet note.
  3. Finally, add a small splash of mineral water to make the drink fizz nicely and stir for about 5 seconds.
