My 2024 Easter cocktail is called Canary Flip. The Canary Flip is a good Easter cocktail with a delicious balance of egg, spirits and wine. The cocktail looks creamy and sweet, but is spicy and lemony. So happy Easter!
The Bikini Martini cocktail is a bright blue combination of lemon, orange and peach laced with Gin. The cocktail was created for a swimwear launch in 1999. The bikini swimsuit was invented in July 1946 by designer Louis Réard and named after the Bikini Atoll, where the first public test of an atomic bomb took place four days earlier.
Every year the Irish people and now almost the whole world celebrate St. Patrick`s Day. On March 17th, green is the predominant colour of Irish people celebrating all over the world; in some cities, the rivers are even colored green on St. Patrick’s Day. On this occasion, here is a great green cocktail for St. Patrick`s Day called Emerald Elixir.
INGREDIENTS
45 ml / 1 ½ oz. Absolut Vodka citron
20 ml / ¾ oz. elderflower liqueur
20 ml / ¾ oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
15 ml/ ½ oz. sugar syrup
2 slices of cucumber
5 basil leaves
8 mint leaves
METHOD
Put the 2 slices of cucumber, 5 basil leaves & 8 mint leaves in base of shaker and muddle (lightly mash).
Then add ice and the other ingredients and shake well.
The Six Cylinder cocktail consists of 6 different spirits and nothing else. It is a bittersweet aperitivo or digestivo with pleasantly subtle, rich cherry notes.
INGREDIENTS
20 ml / ¾ oz. Gin
20 ml / ¾ oz. Cherry Heering liqueur
20 ml / ¾ oz. Campari Italian bitter liqueur
20 ml / ¾ oz. Dubonnet Red
10 ml/ ⅓ oz. Vermouth dry
10 ml/ ⅓ oz. Vermouth rosso
METHOD
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice.
The Gold Phantom cocktail is fruity and refreshing with cognac, pineapple, lemon and Licor 43, a delicious vanilla liqueur from Spain. The Gold Phantom Cocktail is a newer cocktail – created in 2015.
For the Anaïs Nin cocktail, you must shake the anise-flavored Samcuca liqueur with Creme de banana liqueur and Half and half (Cream & Milk) and top with coffee (iced or hot), a cup of whipped cream and a drizzle of the liqueur for a sweet yet intriguingly complex caffeinated treat.
INGREDIENTS
30 ml/ 1 oz. Sambuca
30 ml/ 1 oz. Crème de banane liqueur
30 ml/ 1 oz. Half and half (Cream & Milk)
90-120 ml/ 3-4 oz. coffee (iced or hot)
METHOD
Add all ingredients, except the coffee, into a shaker.
Add ice and shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a pint glass over fresh ice.
Top with the coffee.
Garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of Sambuca.
The Vampiro is a cocktail that includes fruit juice, spices, lime juice and Tequila. The Vampiro has a fruity savory and spicy taste. The Vampiro is popular in Mexico. Mexicans named the cocktail Vampiro (“vampire”) because the Viuda de Sanchez juice mixer’s red colour is reminiscent of blood.
This San Francisco cocktail tastes long-lasting, fruity, slightly sweet and rounded off with Vodka. The orign of the San Francisco cocktail is unknown but almost certainly not originally from the city of San Francisco, California. This fruity drink should not to be confused with the very different sloe gin-based San Francisco cocktail which dates back to before 1937.
