My St. Patrick`s Day cocktail recipe for this year is called the Green Demon cocktail. The cocktail is green in colour and tastes like honeydew and lemon. It’s all about the melon flavor of the Midori cut with the tartness of lemon juice. That said, you’ll also find some Vodka and Rum in this drink. Just in case you were thinking it might not have enough kick for you. One ounce of each of those liqueurs, combined with the lower proof Midori, actually puts this drink on the slightly stronger side of standard.
INGREDIENTS
30 ml/ 1 oz. Midori
30 ml/ 1 oz. Vodka
30 ml/ 1 oz. white Rum
lemonade (to taste)
METHOD
Fill a hurricane glass with ice.
Pour in the liqueurs.
Top off with the lemonade.
Stir gently.
Garnish with a lime wheel .
NOTES
Every year the Irish and now almost the whole world celebrate St. Patrick`s Day. On March 17th, green is the predominant color of Irish people celebrating all over the world; in some cities, the rivers are even colored green on St. Patrick’s Day. On this occasion, here is a great green cocktail for St. Patrick`s Day called Green Demon.
Ukraine is a country in the heart of Europe under attack from Russian dictator Putin. If you want to help Ukraine, donate to Ukraine. I was there myself a few years ago and it’s a wonderful country with amazing people. The colours of the Ukrainian flag are yellow and blue. The recipe consists of two components – Banana liqueur and Blue Curaçao liqueur.
INGREDIENTS
1 part Blue Curaçao
1 part Banana liqueur
METHOD
Pour the Banana liqueur into the cocktail shot.
After that pour gently the Blue Curaçao over a bar spoon against the inside of your shot glass.
You now have a nicely layered shooter representing the flag of the Ukraine.

The Royal Smile cocktail is a balanced sweet and sour cocktail that could put a smile on anyone’s face. Unless that is, “one is not amused!” Calvados notes shine through.
The Enzoni cocktail is a cross between a Negroni and a Gin Sour where the Sweet Vermouth comes in the form of muddled green grapes. An ideal drink to introduce a novice to Campari!
