Probably the Shirley Temple cocktail is the most famous mocktail ever and is believed to be the world’s first mocktail. The drink is named for Shirley Temple, the child actress, singer and dancer who starred in many movies and television shows during the 1930s and ’40s and later become a U.S. diplomat and ambassador.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 ml/ 5 oz. Ginger Ale
- 15 ml/ ½ oz. Grenadine syrup 7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
METHOD
- Fill a Collins glass with ice cubes.
- Add the Grenadine and lime juice.
- Top with the Ginger Ale and stir briefly to combine.
- Garnish with two or three maraschino cherries.
